The Making of a City Changer

In this teaching, Alan Platt unpacks a vision for discipleship that goes far beyond information transfer or behaviour management — it is about whole-life identity formation. Drawing on nine powerful and interconnected outcomes, Alan maps out what it looks like to raise people who are truly Anchored in Christ, Abiding in the Father’s presence, and Aligned in integrity; who carry Mercy into every relationship, live as Mandated representatives of the Kingdom, and steward their gifts through Mobilization. From there, a Kingdom Vantage point reshapes how they see the world, Vocation transforms everyday work into worship, and Victory — or Shalom — becomes the fruit they bring to their homes, workplaces, and cities. It is a compelling and comprehensive framework for what the Church can become when discipleship moves beyond Sunday attendance and into the full formation of people who carry Faith, Love, and Hope as a distributed force for mission in the world.
